Logan was in the middle of an intensive exercise routine in the Danger Room, counting his sit-ups out loud on a yoga mat. He had heard from Xavier that the Academy would be getting a new instructor that morning, but not more than that.

"*Why can't you just tell me about them, Charles?*"

"*You'll see when they get here.*"

That was all that was said. It aggravated him to no end that Xavier would consciously choose to torment him like this, knowing full well he wasn't the most comfortable around new people to begin with. That was the way Logan saw it, at any rate. He growled and increased the pace of his sit-ups, trying desperately to work off some of the stress of the situation.
