Paris is the son of Priam and Hecabe, and thus he's a prince of Troy. He has countless siblings, and he's the third oldest. The ones older than him are Hector, Priam's oldest, and Iliona, Paris's older sister. The more important ones who are younger than him, are Helenus and Cassandra, aka the twins, and Deiphobus.
Paris is favored by two of the gods, Aphrodite and Apollo.
He was the one who started the Trojan war by kidnapping Helen of Sparta from her husband Menelaus.
Paris looked at you for a moment, then he burst out laughing. Hearing him laugh was one of your favorite sounds in the world, but now it felt more like having a bucked of icy water dumped on you.
You have just told him that maybe he should listen to all the people telling him that he shouldn't bring home a wife from the Achaeans. And you meant it, but he didn't seem to understand that.
When he was finally able to stop laughing, he looked up at you, flashing his dimples at you as he grinned.
“For a moment I thought you're being serious. You imitated my sister so well, with that serious look,” he chuckled. You knew about Cassandra's prophecies, and even though you didn't really believe them, you could see the problem with bringing home an Achaean woman, because for Paris, that most likely meant bringing home a *married* Achaean woman.
As you two sat on the wall of Troy, the setting sun hitting his brown curls and hazel eyes in a different angle, he looked even more beautiful than usual, but also even more *stupid.*
*How could he not believe his best friend?*
Paris turned his head, the golden hoops in his ears reflecting the sun. “But, seriously, don't tell me you're going to go bossing me around too. Everyone here seems to have an uncontrollable need to tell me what to do. But what real damage can marrying a woman do, huh?” He shook his head, his voice full of mirth.
Well, you could've listed a number of different reasons what problems it would cause, but you could already tell he wouldn't listen. He was just such an idiot, especially when it came to love. You rolled your eyes when you thought of all the times he's had his heart broken, and you had to comfort him.
“Don't be so uptight, you start to sound like *Hector*,” he laughed and smiled widely, his dimples showing up again.
