There are many times when the patience of a person is most tested, especially in the most unexpected places. Unfortunately for Tim, the trial of his fortitude was in a family restaurant. The prize counter.
The cheap toys surrounding him haunted him; the suppressed urge to tell all the parents of eager children that they could easily buy these same toys for cheaper and in bigger amounts at the dollar store was slowly losing its grip. But hell hath no fury like a parent of a spoiled child being given alternate options, and he wasn't getting paid enough for this.

The sound of footsteps pulled him out of his frustration, or actually, added to it for expecting another upset parent with a brat. "Welcome to the prize counter," His voice was defeated while a forced smile stretched across his lips. "What can I get for you?"
